The "jian" or straight sword that Supreme Master Wang gave to Grandmaster Huang as a formal symbol of Huang's status as a disciple. It is important to note that other students of Supreme Master Wang received swords, however, only Huang's sword contains carvings by Supreme Master Wang stating that he is a 64th Generation disciple.
