On April 26th, the Tien Shan Pai Association held its annual Tien Shan Pai Legacy Tournament, an inter-school event featuring internal and external events. Among the schools in attendance were US Kuoshu Academy, US Martial Arts Academy (Timonium, MD), US Martial Arts Academy (Gaithersburg, MD), Freedom Martial Arts and Wellness Center, CDS Academy of Martial Arts, Body Balance, Relaxed Body Quiet Mind and Silk Dragon Martial Arts. Divisions included internal and external forms events, tai chi pushing hands and light-contact sparring. The event was used as a way to help prepare Tien Shan Pai students for the annual USKSF (United States Kuo Shu Federation) Tournament on July 24th to 26th at the Hunt Valley Marriot in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
